"The other Bukhara, or the personal is political"

​On July 15, an exhibition of the Moldavian artist Alexandru Raevschi was opened in the Bukhara Art Museum. The exposition is devoted to the self-determination of Bukhara citizens, expressed in the contrast between integration into the old-style political system and becoming a political outcast. The project was the result of research conducted within the framework of the two-week residency program, and is an attempt to analyse and depict the current public dialogue by means of short video interviews.
