HOUSE OF POLITICAL PRISONERS
LIGHT ART INSTALLATION
Anne Roininen’s project explores the borders of public and private spaces through art. The House of Political Prisoners Light Art Installation addresses the subject of social engagement and the openness of the urban environment. The House’s Soviet, communal past provided the artist with historical context for the project and allowed her to pose relevant questions about contemporary forms of collective coexistence and neighborliness.
